Highlighting the Pillars of the Region’s Cybersecurity Ecosystem
Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Baker Donelson are proud to facilitate the second annual Atlanta Cyber Week. In its first year, more than 1000 participants from five countries attended one or more of the week’s events. The goal of Atlanta Cyber Week’s public-private collaboration is to provide a broad spectrum of events highlighting the Georgia cybersecurity ecosystem and providing tangible benefit and education for attendees. Atlanta Cyber Week’s events will provide opportunities for meaningful interactions between business, academia and government to assess and respond to the ever-evolving cyber security landscape and face the challenges it brings.

Assessing Business Cyber Risk –
Simulation for Business Leaders
Assessing cyber risk is one of the most important yet misunderstand element of operating a business in today’s world. It is a multi-spectral, cross disciplinary, and collaborative task that is often overshadowed by the more technical elements of cybersecurity. Additionally, the process of forming actionable intelligence out of raw information is often hindered by organizational issues such as lack of coordination, poor information sharing practices, and intellectual bias. The Analytical War Game-Cyber is a hybrid online-live simulation meant to help bridge this gap between technical and strategic analysis, as well as resolve the most common organizational barriers to conducting effective cyber risk assessment and mitigation.

Cybercon 2018
Cybercon 2018 brings together business, academic and government leaders to discuss the continuing evolving security landscape emphasizing cybersecurity as a strategic enterprise business risk. Join us for a conference filled with practical, actionable sessions on cybersecurity issues, especially cybersecurity challenges facing the financial and Fintech sectors.

CyberHub Summit
The purpose of CyberHub Summit is to bridge, excel and create alliances that help all size organization deal with the various cyber threats. Through our diverse lineup of global cybersecurity experts, each attendee will learn from world recognized cybersecurity experts on how to look at their organizations through a different lens, learning what questions to ask, what threats exist and the most importantly what can be done to combat these threats. This year CyberHub Summit will feature a full audience participation Cyber War Games that will provide each attendee the opportunity to deal with an incident and get some hands-on experience.

FinTech Atlanta University Summit
Students and faculty from area Universities are be invited to learn about the FinTech industry, hear from current Atlanta-area FinTech thought leaders and speak directly with companies about internships and post-graduation employment.


Atlanta Cyber Challenge
A Jeopardy style Capture The Flag competition featuring 98 cyber challenges. The harder the challenge, the more points it’s worth. We will select a winner from each of the participant categories that accumulates the most points.

Cyber Drill – Responding to a Real-Time Cyber Security Breach
Our panel of experts will guide you through a real-time cyber drill, advising you and fellow attendees on how to craft a best-practices response to a cyber breach. Don’t miss this hands-on opportunity to learn from the experts!

2018 ISE® Lions’ Den and Jungle Lounge
A shark-tank style event designed to provide emerging security solutions companies a rare chance at pitching their company’s products and services to an unmatched panel of seasoned Information Security Executives. These ISE® Lions are on the prowl for advanced, innovative technology and encourage growth in the industry—impressing them will give participating companies a leading advantage when connecting with new customers and establishing critical business relationships. These competitors, known as our Gazelles, invest $6,500 to have TEN incredibly valuable minutes (consisting of a five-minute pitch and five-minute rapid-fire Q&A) to impress the ISE® Lions and make their mark.

Atlanta Cyber Week at Atlanta Technical College
Atlanta Technical College is proud to join the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Baker Donelson as a participant in the second annual Atlanta Cyber Week. On Thursday, October 11, 2018, attendees are invited to participate in informational and networking event, Career and Educational Opportunities in Information Technology.

Evidence-Based Cybersecurity
Symposium participants will present the key principles of an evidence-based cybersecurity approach, while demonstrating the potential effectiveness it carries in guiding policy efforts and shaping the design of technical tools that aim to prevent and mitigate the consequences of cybercrime. In parallel to the symposium, we will host a mini Hackathon in which GSU students and other interested crackers are encouraged to participate!
